The CE Shop is an approved school in Kansas: Code/Approval Number: CEShop

Every two (2) years, twelve (12) clock hours of Real Estate Continuing Education is required.

·         Real Estate Continuing Education and renewal of license are due on the last day of the month immediately preceding the license expiration date.

·         Salespersons need at least three (3) mandatory core hours, entitled “Required Salesperson and Broker Core” (3 hours). The CE Shop does not offer the core hours for salespersons.

·         Brokers need at least six (6) mandatory core hours, entitled “Required Salesperson and Broker Core” (3 hours) and “Required Broker Core” (3 hours). The CE Shop does not offer the “Required Salesperson and Broker Core” (3 hours) for brokers but does offer the "Required Broker Core" (3 hours) in the catalog above.

·         Real Estate Courses must be completed prior to December 31st to ensure that the Commission will recognize the credit hours taken.  If your license renewal date is approaching, you must complete the courses enough days ahead of your renewal date to allow for the faxing/mailing of the certificate(s) to the Commission by your renewal date. The CE Shop will fax/mail your certificates to the Commission. Please do not mail your certificates in unless requested by the KREC.

Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time.  Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state.  Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.

Real estate course completions are faxed daily to the Kansas Real Estate Commission.  It may take 2-4 business days from the time we report your hours before the Commission updates your license and/or updates their website with the hours.

Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process to ensure the reporting of your hours takes place. Kansas license numbers should be ten (10) digits.
